› Concept!

  • General features:
    • Add game button. It will allow other people to submit games we might not rank right now. These submitted entries will have to be accepted by one of the staff members before its listed.
    • Server reviews. In order to get sites reviewed properly instead of just rants we will allow players to review and rate a server. These reviews will be read and checked by the staff, and approved if fitting.

  • Social media and sharing:
    • Use Twitter to announce new servers.
    • Use Twitter to announce every server that passes every 100 votes. ({$vote % 100 == 0} to clarify)
    • Use Facebook to like specific servers.
    • Use Facebook to share servers.
    • Create an RSS feed on the twitter account, and probably use that feed to replace the newest server list in the lower left corner of the website.

  • Voting and banners:
    • Voting with your Facebook account, bypassing validation codes.
    • Voting with your {site name} account that you made on the site itself, also bypassing validation codes.
    • Voting without account, requiring a validation.
    • All votes are restricted to 1x a week, and you can only vote for 1 server. 1 vote per IP, disregarding whether the vote came through Facebook, an account or without account.
    • Each vote on a site will reward owners of an account with 1 point.
    • Points can be used in order to unlock stuff on the website.
    • Unlocks can only be used on server listings, and involve stuff like enabling a banner, avatar or background in your listing.
    • Server owners can also buy points through paypal/{Insert payment provider}.
    • Besides giving votes to a server, you can also give them your points. This will allow anyone to have full access to the sites features even without money.
    • Any given accepted game will result in extra points to the users account. (25 points in my opinion)
    • Any given accepted review will result in extra points to the users account. (10 points in my opinion)
